Greenwood Commissioner Ind Affs Sir I have the honor to transmit herewith a statement made by Col. J.R. Vineyard agent Tejon Res. of the circumstances attending the reductions of employees on the 30 Dec' last. under instructions from the Department of 18 Nov 1858 & recommending certains persons to be paid. Having no personal knowledge of these circumstances, (the reductions having been made, previous to my entering upon the duties of this office.)
